According to the information obtained, during the control, it was determined that 610 employees, especially security guards and officers, were working outside the working hours stipulated in their individual employment contracts. More accurately, employees were working part-time, but they were actually staying at work longer.
The commercial company headquartered in Constanta was fined 200,000 lei in accordance with the Labor Code.
“We have zero tolerance for labor law violations that endanger both workers and bona fide economic activity. “We continue these checks to protect the rights of all workers in Romania and to deter such practices,” said Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity Simona Bucura Oprescu.
