Moo Deng’s popularity has exploded in recent months, especially in the United States. The chubby hippo has been the subject of jokes and memes on social media, inspired many products and was even parodied by comedian Bowen Yang on “Saturday Night Live.”
Interestingly, an unofficial poll conducted by “The Tonight Show” listed Moo Deng himself as an option alongside Trump and Harris, and he won by a landslide with 93 percent of the vote.
Although animal forecasting is more of a hobby than a science, there are famous precedents. The most famous of these is the case of Paul the octopus, who became a world star at the 2010 World Cup by correctly predicting the results of eight matches from his aquarium in Germany.
