Investing.com – Mexico’s stock market was lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the and sectors led to lower stocks.

The best performer during the session was Gentera SAB de CV (BMV :), which increased by 5.37%, or 1.29 points, to reach 25.31 at closing. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB De CV Class B (BMV:) gained 2.30% or 7.66 points to close at 341.37, and America Movil SAB de CV M (BMV:) rose by 1, 73%, or 0.27 points, closing the session at 15.90.
The worst performer during the session was Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV :), which fell by 5.84%, or 0.55 points, to reach 8.86 at closing. Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV (BMV:) fell 2.75% or 4.23 points to close at 149.47 and Corporacion Inmobiliaria Vesta SAB (BMV:) decreased by 2.64%, or 1.39 points. to 51.32.
Rising stocks outperformed decliners on the Mexican Stock Exchange by 110 to 104, with nine ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.40%, or 10.60, to $2,665.70 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, the price of crude oil for November delivery fell 4.90%, or 3.70, to $71.86 a barrel, while the December Brent crude contract fell 0.20%, or 0.15, reaching a price of $75.17 per barrel.
USD/MXN rose 0.07% to 19.38, while EUR/MXN fell 0.05% to 21.13.
U.S. Dollar Index futures rose 0.30% to 102.98.
