Greek stock markets fall at close of session; Athens General Composite down 0.34% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Greece’s stock market was lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the i sectors led to lower stocks.

At the close in Athens, the rate fell by 0.34%.

The best performers of the session were: Elton S.A (AT:), which increased by 6.17%, or 0.11 points, to reach 1.82 at closing. Meanwhile, Crete Plastics SA (AT:) rose 4.93% or 0.70 points to close at 14.90 and Intracom Holdings SA (AT:) rose 2.22% or 0.07 points , to 2.99 at the end of the session.

They performed the worst during the session Intralot (AT:), which fell by 2.73%, or 0.03 points, to reach 1.07 at closing. Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:) fell 2.43%, or 0.05 points, to close at 2.01 and Lamba development (AT:) fell 1.88%, or 0.14 points, to 7.30.

Falling stocks outpaced gains on the Athens Stock Exchange by 73 to 50, with 15 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.32%, or 8.75, to $2,738.75 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for December delivery rose 1.25%, or 0.86, to $69.55 a barrel, while the December Brent crude contract rose 1.05%, or 0.77, reaching a price of $73.83 per barrel.

EUR/USD remained unchanged 0.27% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP remained unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.

U.S. Dollar Index futures rose 0.31% to 103.63.
