Citigroup is expected to report third-quarter results before the opening bell on Tuesday, when investors will get the latest updates on progress on Chief Executive Jane Fraser’s turnaround plan.

These are the results expected by Wall Street analysts, reports LSEG.

  • Earnings per share: $1.31
  • Revenue: $19.84 billion

Fraser took the reins in March 2021 and has focused on slimming the bank during her tenure. This includes reducing Citigroup global presence AND dismissing employees.

Investment banking and equity trading were two bright spots for the bank second quarter results reportreleased in July.

Citigroup shares are up more than 28% since early Monday, outperforming both the S&P 500 and the financial sector.
