In his opening speech, Valeriu Iftime He emphasized the importance of teamwork, but warned that underperformers could “take a break.” While the new president mentioned pressing problems in the district among his priorities, he also touched on serious disruptions at the water company: “There are urgent problems that are burning and burning on top of the burning water. When I say water, I mean the water company, which has a major operational problem and is missing all its financing projects,” Iftime said.
Eduard Mititelu, secretary of state at the Ministry of Development, also attended the event and expressed his support for the new administration of CJ Botoșani, describing Iftime as the “main actor” on both the district and national stage.
The new administration of CJ Botoșani proposes the modernization of access roads and the promotion of local culture as other priorities, seeing these as essential elements for the sustainable development of the district.
