WASHINGTON (Reuters): The United States has made progress in identifying foreign interference in elections, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan announced on Thursday, less than two weeks before the Nov. 5 presidential vote.

“I admit we’re not where we need to be,” Sullivan said during remarks at an artificial intelligence event. “I think we’ve made progress on that, but we have a long way to go to get to where we need to be.”
