Moroccan stock markets rise at end of session; Moroccan shares of all companies rose by 0.21% According to Investing.com

Investing.com – Moroccan shares were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the and sectors led indexes higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the price was up 0.21%, reaching a new one-month high.

The best performer of the session was Ste Nationale de Siderurgie SA (CSE:), which rose by 9.97%, or 89.50 points, to reach 987.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:) gained 9.89% or 43.00 points to end at 478.00 and Cartier Saada (CSE:) gained 8.62% or 2.70 points to end at 34.03 session.

The worst performer of the session was Taqa Morocco SA (CSE :), which fell by 4.54%, or 68.00 points, to close the session at 1,431.00. Inwoły (CSE:) fell 3.98% or 3.98 points to close at 96.02 and Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:) fell 2.65% or 12.80 point, to 470.05.

Declining stocks outpaced gains on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 19, with 12 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery rose 2.17%, or 1.51, to $71.00 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for January delivery rose 2.00% or 1.46 to $74.56 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.13% or 3.55 reaching a price of $2,752.75 per troy ounce.

EUR/MAD rose 0.29% to 10.71, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.82.

U.S. Dollar Index futures fell 0.62% to 103.56.
