Revolut Has Introduced A New Feature Called Revolut Ramp

One of the largest fintech companies Revoult has entered into a partnership with non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask. Representatives of the British fintech giant introduced a new feature called Revolut Ramp. It will be available through the MetaMask app, wallet browser extension and Portfolio platform.

Up to 20 cryptocurrencies will be available to users. These include Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and the stablecoin USD Coin (USDC). There will be a small fee for purchasing digital assets. Information about it will appear before the client confirms the transaction. Users will be able to pay for cryptocurrency from a fiat account using Visa or Mastercard. For now, the Revolut Ramp feature will be available in the UK and the European Economic Area.

According to Lorenzo SANTOS, Senior Product Manager at Consensys, the company behind MetaMask, this partnership aims to give users more control over their cryptocurrencies. MetaMask previously teamed up with American broker Robinhood. Clients of the latter were able to buy digital assets directly through their wallet.
