US authorities also seized websites linked to three illegal cryptocurrency exchanges, in what was described as a “coordinated international effort” involving authorities in the Netherlands, Latvia, Germany, the UK, Europol and several US agencies. The websites relate to Russian-linked payment and exchange platforms Cryptex.net, UAPS, PinPays, and PM2BTC.
