EigenLayer allows users to stake ether (ETH)which can be reused to secure other networks and earn additional rewards. The total value locked (TVL) on the protocol has fallen by more than 50% since June as a result of increased competition and a broader slump in the rejuvenation sector. Currently TVL has about $10 billion.
