The Norton Motorcycles brand has been saved after Indian firm TVS Motor confirmed it had purchased the beleaguered British manufacturer for £16 million with plans to return it to ‘full glory’ on the international landscape.

The company went into administration in January 2020. On 17 April 2020, it has been reported that India’s TVS Motor Company acquired Norton Motorcycles in an all cash deal. In the short term, they will be continue production of motorcycles at Donington Park using the same staff.
