What can I use for grip glue?
kwakker thrasher. I’ve used all kinds of different methods for grips (honda grip glue, gasoline, hairspray, nothing+safety wire, etc).
Does hairspray work as Grip glue?
Yes, been using hairspray to install grips on motorcycles and bicycles for years. As you said it works great to help them slid on, then dries and sticks.
How long does Hairspray take to dry on grips?

should’ve dried out in about 1/2 hr. Don’t use too much. Just enough to get it in without any problems.
Is Hairspray good for bike grips?
Spray the inside of the grip with hair spray. Slide it on immediately, and then when the hair spray dries, it will glue the grip in place. Use rubbing alcohol. It does not do as good of a job at locking the grip in place, but it does evaporate quickly and doesn’t leave any lubricant inside the grip.
