(Reuters) – Boeing (NYSE:) Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg on Friday urged 33,000 striking workers to vote in favor of a new four-year contract that includes a 38% wage increase, ending a seven-week work stoppage.
“It’s time for us all to come together and focus on rebuilding the business and delivering the best aircraft in the world. Many people rely on us,” Ortberg said in an email to employees.
The improved contract offer includes a 38% pay rise over four years, up from the previous 35% increase. Workers are to vote on Monday.
